WHA - Bolton-Cutter Award

A cash prize of $500 will be awarded annually for the best article on any phase of the history of the Borderlands, from the Floridas to the Carolinas, from the sixteenth century to the present, including the northward movement of Spanish-speaking people into the United States in recent times, major political, economic, and social developments, cultures, peoples, institutions, and movements, broad essays of synthesis or new interpretations.
