NWU - Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship

Northwestern University seeks applications for a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship in Latina and Latino Studies for a period of two years, beginning September 1, 2011. All requirements for the Ph.D. must be completed before the start date. Recent Ph.D.s degree (granted during or after 2007) with a commitment to the field of U.S. Latina and Latino Studies are encouraged to apply. Preferred disciplinary fields are anthropology, art, art history, ethnic studies, history, literature, political science, religion, and sociology. The successful candidate will be affiliated with the Latina and Latino Studies program and the appropriate disciplinary department, will teach one or two courses per year in the Latina and Latino studies program, and present one colloquium per year.
