NCFR - Distinguished Service to Families Award
Organization: National Council on Family Relations
The award, under the auspices of the Association of Councils, is given in recognition of exceptional leadership and/or service that improves family well-being. Contributions to Public Service "action" programs recognize the importance of family issues in the future rather than the past. If the award winner is in the policy field, the award is given in honor of Dr. Harold Feldman. If the recipient is in a health field, it is in honor of Dr. Fred Bozett. National leaders in the family field, political figures, entertainers, or volunteers who have played significant roles in helping families may be nominated. Nominees need not be NCFR members to be eligible for this award.
