MAA - Van Courtlandt Elliott Prize

The Van Courtlandt Elliott Prize is awarded annually for a first article in the field of medieval studies judged by the selection committee to be of outstanding quality. To be eligible, the author must be resident in North America. A first article on a medieval topic, with a publication date of 2005, can be entered in the 2007 competition for the Elliott Prize (of $500). Articles, published in any journal, must be at least five pages in length and by a single author whose residence is in North America.
