FSUL - Fred L. Standley Award

Beginning this year, the Friends of the Florida State University Libraries will be inaugurating competition for the Fred L. Standley Award to recognize the FSU "Academic Librarian of the Year." The award is named for Fred L. Standley, revered English department faculty member (now retired) who has long supported the Friends and has twice served as President. The Fred L. Standley Award honors an outstanding faculty member within the University Libraries at the Florida State University for significant contributions to campus, state, national and/or international research librarianship and library development.
