Dreyfus Foundation - Faculty Start-up Awards Program - suspended

Organization: Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation, Inc.

The Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation supports the scholarly activity of new faculty at primarily undergraduate institutions with an award to help initiate their independent research programs. The Faculty Start-up Awards Program is open to academic institutions in the States, Districts, and Territories of the United States of America that grant a bachelor's or master's degree, but not a doctoral degree, in the chemical sciences, including biochemistry, materials chemistry, and chemical engineering. Faculty members must start their first tenure-track appointment in 2009 to be eligible for nomination in 2009. Institutions may submit only one Faculty Start-up Award nomination annually.
