CIES - Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award

The traditional Fulbright Scholar Program sends 800 U.S. faculty and professionals abroad each year. Grantees lecture and conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields. To be eligible for a Fulbright Scholar award, one must hold U.S. citizenship at the time of application; have a Ph.D or equivalent professional/terminal degree (including a master's depending on the field) as appropriate at the time of application; have college or university teaching experience at the level and in the field of the proposed lecturing activity as specified in the award description at the time of application; be in sound physical and mental health. Note: Some programs do have a foreign language proficiency requirement, though most lectures are presented in English. FSU OFFERS AN ON-CAMPUS APPLICATION WORKSHOP EVERY SPRING.
