CASE/CF - The U.S. Professors of the Year Awards
Organization: Council for Advancement and Support of Education , Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching
The U.S. Professors of the Year awards honor our nation's best undergraduate teachers - those who excel as educators and influence the lives and careers of their students. This is the only national program to recognize excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring. All undergraduate teachers in the United States, of any academic rank at any type of undergraduate institution, are eligible for the award. However, they cannot throw their own hat into the ring. Nominators must be members of the campus faculty or school administration. Each institution may only submit three nominations which will be approved by the provost of the university.
