ASN - Peter J. Reeds Memorial Young Investigator Award

This award is given for outstanding research in macronutrient metabolism accomplished within 5 years of receiving a Ph.D., or completing residency training in the case of a physician. The award will provide $1500, an engraved plaque, and travel funds to the Experimental Biology meeting. This Award was established with an initial contribution from the Children's Nutrition Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine. Candidates for awards need not be members of the Society. However, the awards are usually given to professionally active nutrition scientists.
