AECT - James W. Brown Publication Award

Presented to the author(s) of an outstanding publication in the field of educational technology. Nominated items are not restricted to books or print; they may be in any media format (film, video, broadcast program, book, etc.). Nominated publications shall be judged on the basis of: Significance of the item's content for the field of media/instructional technology, as defined in the Definition of Educational Technology, published by AECT in 1977, or in any subset of the publication; Professional quality of the item; Potential impact of the item's content on the field of media/instructional technology, as defined in the Definition of Educational Technology; Technical quality of the item if applicable.
