Organization: Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences

This award is for the outstanding paper presented at the annual meeting. Expectations include: Conceptual and methodological rigor in the development of the thesis and its subsequent empirical or logical documentation; Theoretical or pragmatic relevance of the thesis and its importance to the developing body of knowledge for criminal justice; Formal organization of material, flow of ideas, and clarity of narrative.
