AAFCS - Leaders Award

Organization: American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences

The Leaders Award was established to identify and honor family and consumer sciences professionals who have made significant contributions to the field through their involvement with AAFCS. Any AAFCS member who does not belong to the Student Unit* and who has completed more than eight (8) years of service to the field is eligible to receive this award. The current AAFCS Board of Directors, Awards and Recognition Committee, and staff are not eligible for nomination. Nominations must be made by a sanctioned entity of the Association (affiliate, community, committee, or unit, etc.).*For details on AAFCS membership categories, go to www.aafcs.org.
