The Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance, and Abolition announces the annual Frederick Douglass Book Prize, a $25,000 award for the most outstanding nonfiction book published in English on the subject of slavery and/or abolition and antislavery movements. Publishers and authors are invited to submit books that meet these criteria.
