ASoA - Career Achievement Award

Award name changed from William F. Ogburn Career Achievement Award to Career Achievement Award beginning in 2024 and to include Mid-Career awardees in 2017.This award belong to the section on communication and information technologies. ASA sections are substantive divisions to which members belong in addition to general membership. CITASA William F. Ogburn Career Achievement Award recognizes a sustained body of research that has provided an outstanding contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the area of sociology of communications and/or the sociology of information technology.
