APS - Jacques Barzun Prize in Cultural History

The Jacques Barzun Prize is awarded annually to the author or authors whose book exhibits distinguished work in American or European cultural history. Authors must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Books must be written in English, and published in the United States in the previous calendar year. Books must be single-authored volumes, not collections of articles or edited texts. The subject must be American or European cultural history.
