The candidate for this award must have demonstrated innovation, creativity and leadership in excellence in practice. The candidate must be a registered dietitian or dietetic technician, Registered and a member of the American Dietetic Association. The candidate: functions at a superior level in clinical practice; performance consistently exceeds in quality; instrumental in developing increased efficiency; productivity and/or effectiveness in job related or volunteer based endeavors; promotes professionalism and high achievement; has pioneered new techniques/methods.
